This chart is an approximate conversion; real fit varies by brand, last and shape. Measure your foot and check the brand’s official size chart before buying. To measure: stand on a sheet of paper with weight evenly on both feet, mark from heel to longest toe, and use the longer foot.

About international shoe sizes

Shoe sizing differs by country: the US and UK use the barleycorn (1/3 inch) as the step, Europe (EU) uses the Paris point (2/3 cm) per size, while Japan simply labels the foot length in centimetres. The same foot therefore maps to different numbers in each system, which makes it easy to order the wrong size abroad. This tool arranges the common sizes into one chart with the matching foot length in centimetres and inches so you can convert at a glance.

The most reliable way to choose is by foot length: measure in the evening (when feet are slightly swollen), use the longer of your two feet, then pick your size from the “Foot” column. If you fall between two sizes, sizing up is usually safer. All conversion runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
